Today I attended the Handmade Market in Kenilworth for the first time, and I'd like to share some of my thoughts. It only took me two attempts! I love this stainless stell beaded bead: made from 38 small nuts, and one larger one in the centre, this makes a striking and unique pendant. I held it all together using silver wire, a much better choice than thread, as it is maleable and, quite frankly, looks better. It's metallic, so blends in well with the nuts.Love it, had quite good feedback on Etsy!

So this showcases my latest venture: chain mail. The crystal hearts are Swarovski (only the best, darling!), and the bail is a Mobius knot. I'm very impressed with myself. These took FOREVER! I've been experimenting with different techniques, and after visting my local bead shop, Spellbound Beads, I decided to buy one of their knitted wire kits and have a go!This is my first attempt at knitted wire, with this silver toggle clasp bracelet. So this is my first post, and coincidently, my first beaded cabochon piece as well. I'm very proud of it, as it's the most complex piece I've done so far in beading.It comprises of black and gold seed beads, as well as larger black and clear beads.
